We work with the world's leading maritime transporters, who guarantee the right temperature (14 degrees) for the transport of bananas and reach most countries of the globe.

We have a well-developed network of dedicated warehouses (ripening facilities) and logistics centres, the largest of which are located in Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Antwerp, Turkey and Albania.

Banana production is not just a process.
It is part of the life of many
generations in Latin American countries.
BANANAS
  • Did you know that a banana tree only produces 1 harvest in its lifetime?
  • But don’t worry! After harvesting, the trunk of the plant is cut and a new one is already growing nearby!
  • Bananas are harvested green so that they reach perfect ripeness after the long journey to Europe.
  • During harvesting, the bananas are placed on a special sponge so that they are not damaged during transport to the packing station.
  • Before packing, the bananas spend 20-30 minutes in a pool of water to stop the release of latex from the freshly cut ends of the fruit.
  • Of all bananas harvested, only 5-6% do not pass quality control. Fruit unsuitable for export is sold on the local market.
  • The bananas are transported at a constant temperature of 14 degrees Celsius.
  • After unloading from the ship, they ripen for 5-7 days in special ripening facilities.
  • And then they take on a sunny colour and sweetness!
